Program joins "Sharks Deep Dive" and "Marine Mammal Keeper Experience"
Guests to SeaWorld Orlando can enter the chilly waters of the beluga
whale during the park's newest "Animal Connections" program, the "Beluga
Interaction Program." The immersive adventure joins "Sharks Deep Dive"
and "Marine Mammal Keeper Experience" in offering unforgettable animal
encounters.
Beluga
Interaction Program – SeaWorld Orlando's
"Beluga Interaction Program" is one of the few programs in the world
where guests can enter the beluga whales' environment for an
unforgettable experience that includes up-close, hands-on interactions
with these beautiful white whales.
Participants
suit up and enter the chilly 55 degree water for both shallow-water and
deep-water encounters in the majestic creatures' habitat, located at the
Wild Arctic attraction.
While
providing a safe, fun and memorable experience, the Beluga Interaction
Program will also help guests gain a better understanding of beluga
whales and their habitats.
Cost is $179
per person, is limited to four guests per session, and includes a
souvenir photo and an educational booklet on whales. The program is
available Thursday – Monday. Guests must be at least 13 years of age or
older.
Sharks
Deep Dive – The mere thought of sharks
elicits fear and wonder from anyone considering a swim in the world's
oceans. SeaWorld plunges guests into the realm of these perfect
predators as part of the park's most daring "Animal Connections"
program, "Sharks Deep Dive."
Located at
the Shark Encounter attraction, participants don wetsuits and an all-new
underwater helmet – which allows participants to breathe and communicate
underwater without scuba equipment – during their awe-inspiring
underwater encounter with more than 50 sharks and an array of fish.
Cost is $150
per person, is limited to two guests for the two-hour program, and
includes a "Sharks Deep Dive" T-shirt, a shark information booklet and a
souvenir photograph. Guests must be at least 10 years of age or older.

Mammal Keeper Experience – What does it
take to work with SeaWorld animals … to rescue and rehabilitate injured
manatees ... to spend all day caring for walrus and seals ... to prepare
