Holiday Happenings - Celebrate safari style as Disney's Animal Kingdom is wilder than ever
this winter season. Mickey and his pals rejoice in traditional holiday
music with a world beat twist during the daily "Mickey's Jingle Jungle
Parade," from November 12, 2007 - January 6, 2008. At Camp
Minnie-Mickey, guests can meet Disney characters dressed in their
holiday best or enjoy carolers performing seasonal classics at Santa
Goofy's Holiday Village. The village is decorated with Christmas trees
and features live entertainers and holiday photo opportunities.

Africa, home to Kilimanjaro Safaris, Harambe village, Pangani Forest
Exploration Trail, and Rafiki’s Planet Watch and the Wildlife
Express steam train.
DinoLand U.S.A., with the DINOSAUR thrill ride,
The Boneyard excavation play area, Cretaceous Trail and Theater in
the Wild, featuring “Tarzan Rocks!” stage show.

Throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests will find
imaginative eateries inspired by culinary expertise of chef Robert Adams
and his team of talented chefs. Each Disney restaurant has its own chef
and a personality all its own. Beer and wine are served throughout the
park’s restaurants.
Colorful food counters in many street side buildings
throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom add to the variety of eating
opportunities with such delights as fresh-baked cookies in an
Adirondack-style cabin at Camp Minnie-Mickey, “dinosaur” (turkey) legs in
DinoLand U.S.A. and ice cream bars with the imprint of Simba’s paw.
Shopping

shopping guide.
The 3,700 specially created merchandise items at Disney’s
Animal Kingdom reflect the overriding theme of the park -- a celebration
of animals.
The merchandise depicts all of the park “animals,”
whether they are Disney, dinosaurs or real.
Environmentally friendly conservation messages also are
evident throughout the merchandise locations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
At each register guests can contribute to the Disney Wildlife Conservation
Fund by adding a dollar to a purchase. Or they can buy a shopping bag, and
the proceeds will go toward conservation. Penny press machines featuring
the Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund logo are located throughout the park
with proceeds supporting wildlife and wild places. And guests can find a
special conservation-focused merchandise shop in Out of the Wild at
Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

First Aid: Located near Creature Comforts on
Discovery Island.
Guest Relations: Located near the Main Entrance,
is headquarters for many offerings from services for Guests with
disabilities and international Guests to ticket upgrades, dining
assistance, and separated Guest assistance.
Kennels: Located near the Main Entrance outside
the turnstiles. Presented by Purina.
Lockers: Located near the Main Entrance,
Spaceship Earth and International Gateway.
Lost & Found: Located at Guest Relations near
the Main Entrance.
Items left more than a day are delivered to Central Lost & Found nightly
at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Package Pickup: Located near the Main Entrance. Purchases delivered here may be picked
up three hours after purchased as you exit the park or delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort.
Physical Considerations: For safety and comfort,
you should be in good health and free from heart, back or neck problems,
motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by certain
attractions. Expectant mothers should not ride. Young children
should be accompanied by an adult.
Readmission Policy: If you leave the park
and plan to return the same day, you must present your valid ticket or
Resort ID with ticket entitlement and utilize the Ticket Tag system.
Safety Considerations: Walt Disney World works to
maintain a comfortable, safe and enjoyable environment for all Guests.
Please assist by showing common courtesy to fellow Park Guests.
Please be respectful of others. Do not use profanity or engage in
unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior. Please abide by all safety
warnings and notices. Proper attire, including shirts and shoes,

is allowed in designated areas only. Please look for the smoking

Travel Tips: Should your vehicle become disabled
during your visit, complimentary towing is provided by AAA during park
hours.
Wheelchairs: Rentals and replacements available near the Main
Entrance. For additional information, pick up a Guide for Guests with
Disabilities at Guest Relations.
Environmentality: Please look for the recycling
