Epcot International Food & Wine Festival - September 28 - November 11, 2007

Embark on an epicurean adventure as the 12th Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival showcases the flavors of the world. Explore marketplaces featuring regional foods, wines, and beers. Learn from renowned chefs and winemakers at special programs and demonstrations, and sample the finest cuisine from around the globe. Plus, be sure to savor the sizzling sounds of the "Eat to the Beat" concert series that stars a stellar line-up of popular musical acts!


Holidays Around the World - November 23 - December 30, 2007  With one extra event date this year, World Showcase transforms into a splendor of international holiday traditions and storytelling from Nov. 23 through Dec. 30. Holiday icons who delight children around the globe -- such as France's Père Noël and Italy's La Befana -- make special appearances in their respective countries, while Santa Claus himself pays visits to The American Adventure. Guests can see holiday traditions and legends as they are observed around the world, with Hanukah and Kwanzaa customs also showcased.

At nightfall, Mickey Mouse and his friends host a gala tree-lighting ceremony -- Mickey's Tree Lighting Treat -- complete with music and storytelling, in World Showcase Plaza. A dazzling synchronized light show -- "The Lights of Winter" -- illuminates a canopy adorning the World Showcase breezeway bridge. The laser, lights and fireworks spectacular, "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth," complete with a holiday finale, caps the celebration. Guests with a long holiday shopping list will discover one-of-a-kind gifts with international flair throughout World Showcase boutiques. The special holiday fun takes place daily, Nov. 23-Dec. 30, and is included with regular Epcot admission.


14th Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival - April 13 - June 3, 2007

This seven-week festival, known by gardening aficionados for its celebrity guest speakers, hands-on seminars and planting demonstrations, will take place in the park’s Future World and World Showcase.  Thirty million blooms, intricately designed floral beds, artfully crafted bonsai trees, lush rose gardens and more Disney character topiaries will grace the park’s 300 acres.  Nightly Flower Power concerts will rock the landscape with live entertainment from top acts of the 1960s and ’70s, including Tony Orlando in Concert, The Guess Who and The Association.

Future World is a high-energy, high-tech land where guests interact with exhibits, experience internet zones, visit a home of the future and thrill to the high-tech, high-speed excitement of Test Track, the longest and fastest adventure at any Walt Disney World theme park.

World Showcase is a world of multi-cultural enchantment, featuring 20-foot-tall “Tapestry of Dreams” puppets dancing in the streets, marketplaces bustling with international flavor and a dazzling display of countries that transports guests through the magical worlds of
11 nations with just a few steps.

There’s something new around every corner at Epcot, including “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” a thunderous fireworks spectacular like no other. Family fun continues at “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience,” “Ellen’s Energy Adventure,” “Circle of Life” and Innoventions.
 

Dining

The restaurants of World Showcase offer authentic cuisine from around the globe, from traditional Italian at L’Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante in the Italy showcase to chicken couscous in Morocco’s Restaurant Marrakesh. Guests can make priority seating reservations for nearly two dozen restaurants through Epcot Guest Relations or at the individual restaurants.

In Future World, restaurants feature regional American favorites from gourmet pizza to fresh seafood. All Epcot restaurants have children’s value meals and can accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice.

Services

Baby Changing/Nursing: Located at Odyssey Center.  Hosted by Nestle Carnation Baby Formulas.

Baby Strollers: Rentals and replacements available near the Main Entrance and at International Gateway.

Banking: ATMs are located near the Main Entrance (outside of the park), between Future World and World Showcase Plaza (near the Vacation Club kiosk) and at a kiosk in Germany.  Presented by SunTrust Bank.

Credit Cards: The American Express® card is the official card of the Walt Disney World Resort.  Traveler's Checks, Cash, MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover® Card, Diners Club®, JCB®, and the Disney Credit Card are also accepted.

First Aid: Located at Odyssey Center.

Guest Relations: Located on the east side of Spaceship Earth, is headquarters for many offerings from services for Guests with disabilities and international Guests to ticket upgrades, dining assistance, and separated Guest assistance.

Kennels: Located near the Main Entrance outside the turnstiles.  Presented by Friskies.

Lockers: Located near the Main Entrance, Spaceship Earth and International Gateway.

Lost & Found: Located at Guest Relations on the east side of Spaceship Earth.  Items left more than a day are delivered to Central Lost & Found nightly at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Package Pickup: Located at Gift Stop at the Main Entrance.  Purchases delivered here may be picked up as you exit the park or delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort.  Ask about shipping purchases.  FedEx is the official express delivery service of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Physical Considerations: For safety and comfort, you should be in good health and free from heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by certain attractions.  Expectant mothers should not ride.  Young children should be accompanied by an adult.

Readmission Policy:  If you leave the park and plan to return the same day, you must get your hand stamped when you exit.  To re-enter, you must present your ticket or Resort ID as well as your hand stamp.

Safety Considerations: Walt Disney World works to maintain a comfortable, safe and enjoyable environment for all Guests.  Please assist by showing common courtesy to fellow Park Guests.  Please be respectful of others.  Do not use profanity or engage in unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior.  Please abide by all safety warnings and notices.  Proper attire, including shirts and shoes, must be worn at all times.

Smoking: For the comfort of all Guests, smoking is allowed in designated areas only.  Please look for the smoking symbol on park guide maps for specific locations.

Travel Tips: Should your vehicle become disabled during your visit, complimentary towing is provided by AAA during park hours.

Wheelchairs: Rentals and replacements available near the Main Entrance and at International Gateway.  For additional information, pick up a Guide for Guests with Disabilities at Guest Relations.

Environmentality: Please look for the recycling containers throughout the Resort.
