Disney's Port Orleans Resort Theme: The charm and ambiance of the French Quarter are what the Disney artists had in mind when designing this resort.

Transportation: Boat ride on the Sassagoula River to Dixie Landings, Pleasure Island and the Disney Village Marketplace. Buses also go to these as well as all other Walt Disney World destinations.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort
Rooms: 1,008 rooms. 946 rooms with two double beds, 62 king rooms. 605 rooms are designated as non-smoking and 12 rooms are disabled-accessible. Rooms are 314 square feet and double beds are extra long. Rooms feature two sinks, separate bath area, ceiling fan, and table and chairs. Connecting rooms available. Room views include standard view and water view.

Dining & Lounges:

  • Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory - $
    300 seat food court with a Mardi Gras theme. All meals served. American and Creole cuisine including burgers, pasta, pizza, chicken, ice cream, and baked goods.

  • Sassagoula Pizza Express
    Room service pizza.

  • Scat Cat's Lounge
    Drinks and light menu served. Live entertainment Thursday through Monday evenings.

  • Mardi Grogs -
    Poolside serving drinks and snacks.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort
Recreation: Doubloon Lagoon pool area featuring a water slide which is actually the tongue of a sea serpent. Other recreation options include biking, video arcade, Jacuzzi, playground, croquet, and watercraft such as pedal boats, canoes, pontoon boats and canopy boats. Port Orleans guests also have the option of using Dixie Landings swimming area. Access to five championship Disney golf courses.

Children's Activities: KinderCare offers in-room and drop-off child care services. Reservations should be made 24 hours in advance at (407) 287-5444. Resort guests can also use the children's activity centers at the Wilderness Lodge, the Polynesian Resort, Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and the Boardwalk Inn.

Shopping: Jackson Square Gifts and Desires carries sundries and necessities, and stocks merchandise with the Port Orleans logo as well as other Disney items.
