Rooms: 287 oversized rooms (480 square feet) which accommodate up to 5 people;
each room has two queen beds, a day bed, television and VCR, table and chairs, a balcony
or patio and a view of either a pool, golf course, or lush landscaping.
 Rates:
Room rates are determined by military grade and are
available to active and retired members of the uniformed services, Reserves and National
Guard, as well as currently employed Department of Defense civilians. Sponsors may
reserve up to three rooms. Call for additional information and rates for non-eligible
guests and for information about overflow rooms at other resorts if Shades of Green is
completely booked.
Dining & Lounges:
Poolside Bar and Grill - $
Near the Magnolia Golf Course and Fountain Pool. Serves fast food and snacks from
mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Breakfast on the Run - $
Just what the name implies, continental breakfast served from 6:30am to 10:30am.
Evergreen Sports Bar and Grill

Open from 11:00am to midnight, this poolside restaurant serves American style snacks and
light meals including hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken. Also a great place for golfers
after a round of golf. Televised sports are shown.
Back Porch Lounge - $$
Offers light meals at lunch only and is very popular with the golfing crowd.
The Garden Gallery - $$$
A la carte breakfast service and a breakfast buffet served from 7:00am to 11:00am. Dinner
buffet that nightly features a different culinary theme.
Child Care Services: KinderCare
offers in-room and drop-off child care services. Reservations should be made 24 hours in
advance at (407) 287-5444. Resort guests can also use the children's activity centers at
the Wilderness Lodge, the Polynesian Resort, Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and the
Boardwalk Inn.
Recreation: Two outdoor heated swimming pools (Fountain Pool and Millpond Pool),
video arcade room, children's pool and playground, exercise room, pool table, two lighted
tennis courts, nature walk, access to five championship Disney golf courses including two
golf courses and a 9-hole executive course which are adjacent to the resort.
Shopping: The Lobby Gift shop
is available to those with military ID and is part of the Army, Air Force Exchange System
(AAFES). It offers discounts on some Disney items as well as various sundries. The
Made in the Shade Shoppe sells Shades of Green logo items which can be purchased there. The Pro Shop is a Disney run shop offering golf wear and
accessories, as well as Disney character clothing and other gift items.
Other Amenities: Room service available from
7:00am to 11:00pm, laundry facilities, voice mail, in-room safe for a daily
fee, and valet parking. Discounts available on Walt Disney World admissions
and recreational options, as well as discounts on other area attractions.
